Hill City Polar Plunge Festival

Run. Plunge. Play. Repeat... at Liberty University

10 am - shuttles from Tilley Student center will run from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm

Freeze the day and join us at the Hill City Polar Plunge® Festival benefiting Special Olympics Virginia. Whether you just dip your ankles or take a minute to splash around, it's the coolest thing you'll do all year – not to mention you are creating more opportunities for our athletes to experience the life-changing benefits of participating in Special Olympics — all at no cost to themselves or their families.

Plungers must raise a minimum of $50 to participate, and will receive a Hill City Polar Plunge T-shirt and a free Lynchburg Hillcats general admission ticket.

In addition to some great giveaways for all plungers and fans, including restaurant gift cards, jewelry and a new SAMSUNG GALAXY S III thanks to our friends at AT&T, prizes also will be awarded to the top fundraiser and for the best costume. And while you're there, you can dance to live music from great, local bands Dogwood & Holly, Chasing the Horizon and Odyssey; food also will be available at the event.
