Runners can hit the boardwalk Saturday morning (Feb. 2) for an invigorating 5K! The 5K, presented by the Virginia Law Enforcement Torch Run and Tropical Smoothie, will begin at 8:30 a.m. at 8th Street and the Boardwalk. All ages welcome (you don't have to plunge to participate).
The registration fee is $40/runner Jan. 15. All runners will receive a long sleeve 5K technical shirt (shirts only are guaranteed to the first 1,000 registered runners), goodie bag and entrance into both the Polar Plunge Festival and the Saturday Night Beach Bash (one pass per participant). Runners also are eligible to earn cool fundraising incentives.
